Leila A. Hicks primarily focuses her practice on issues related to family
law in the firm’s Greensboro office. Leila provides thorough, high-quality,
and attentive representation and advocacy.
Leila has worked extensively in matters involving child custody, domestic
violence, and divorce in multiple counties and judicial districts throughout
the state. She prides herself on being a zealous advocate for the men,
women, and children who need her counsel and representation.
Before joining the firm, Leila practiced in Raleigh where she provided
legal representation in matters involving family law, criminal defense,
personal injury and disability. Having been raised in Winston-Salem, Leila
returned to the triad to continue her career. She received her B.A. from
the University of North Carolina where she double-majored in Philosophy
and Political Science. After completing her undergraduate studies, Leila
attended law school at the University of North Carolina School of Law.
During law school, Leila served on the Editorial Board of the North Carolina
Banking Institute Journal and was actively involved in the law school’s
pro bono program and UNC’s chapter of Phi Alpha Delta. In her free
time, she enjoys running, hiking Pilot Mountain with her two dogs and
rooting for the Tar Heels.
