A Strong Advocate for Your Immigration Needs
Immigration attorney Roselyn Torrellas was born in Barquisimeto, Venezuela. She and her family immigrated to the United States when she was a teenager. Roselyn lived one year in Miami, Florida before her parents decided to move to Greensboro, North Carolina. When Roselyn graduated from high school, her family was still in the process of getting legalization inside of the United States. So, she was not able to attend university after graduation like some of her peers.
Yet, Roselyn knew she wanted to become a lawyer at a very young age. After high school graduation, she decided she wanted to pursue the field of immigration law. Roselyn sensed that she would be able to relate to future clients and guide them through this difficult and intricate transition of immigration law.
Roselyn attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and received her undergraduate degree in Political Science with a minor in Sociology. After graduation, she started working full-time for an immigration attorney in Greensboro. It was at that time that she decided to pursue her law degree. So, she attended the evening program at North Carolina Central University School of Law in Durham. Roselyn received her Juris Doctor in 2009.
In 2020, Roselyn felt it was time for a change. She wanted to work for a reputable law firm in the area where she lived and found out there was an opening at Dummit Fradin’s Greensboro location. Thus, she jumped at the opportunity to join our growing immigration team.
In her free time, Roselyn likes to be outdoors as much as possible. She enjoys hiking, swimming or just having a relaxing day at the park with her daughter. Roselyn loves reading a good book and traveling outside of the United States at least once a year so her daughter can appreciate the comfort she has here in this country.
Roselyn has helped thousands of people while working in Miami, Florida, Winston-Salem, Raleigh and Smithfield, North Carolina. As part of the Dummit Fradin team, she’s excited to offer the community legal counsel in various areas of immigration law including: citizenship, adjustment of status, family petitions, DACA, asylum, and more. You can rest assured that Roselyn will be honest, professional, and organized while working with you. Contact us today to schedule a consultation with immigration attorney Roselyn Torrellas.
